| Thielska Galleriet is a museum with a unique and very large collection of art and paintings from some of the most famous Nordic artists such as Edvard Munch, Carl Larsson, Bruno Liljefors, Eugène Janssson and many more. The Banker Ernest Thiel was a close personal friend with many of the big Nordic artists of his time and created this remarkable collection in his residence at Djurgården. The building itself, built as his private house and for his large collections 1904-1907, is wonderful and being located far out at the end of Djurgården it is really something worth a visit. | ||
